Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that can be enjoyed by persons of all ages and fitness levels. If you can walk, you can learn Tai Chi. It is very relaxing and a great stretch for the spine and hips. It builds flexibility, balance and leg strength. Your brain will also get a workout learning and memorizing the new moves.
This class is designed for people with little or no experience of Tai Chi. You will learn the full sequence of movements to perform the 24 Yang style, which is a very common form for beginners. You will learn the basic stances, steps, hand positions and body alignment to perform all 24 movements correctly.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Indoor shoes may be worn but are not required.
