2016 at Studio 26 Hot Yoga Inc.

I have been neglecting my blog lately because there simply wasn’t time to sit and put down my thoughts. I spent Christmas in Calgary with dear friends where I enjoyed the company of  many wonderful people and was given the opportunity to teach classes at two Calgary studios. It was a great holiday and I return renewed, refreshed and ready to work with the best team of teachers I have ever met to provide you with your best Hot Yoga experience.

I posted our official logo because I think it is very important to make clear that Studio 26 Hot Yoga is NOT a Bikram Yoga studio. We do teach the Bikram method and all of the Hot Yoga teachers are Bikram certified teachers. That being said, I chose to be an independent studio. I am the sole owner and Director of Studio 26 and we are not associated in any way with Bikram Choudhury. I feel it is important to communicate this information because I received a very disturbing email from one of our students. Even though she loves our studio, she was prepared to leave because she believed we were paying an affiliation fee to Bikram Yoga College of India. I assured her this was not the case and much to my relief she is again attending classes.
